Confidentiality Agreement
Seeds of Hope Staff are entrusted with confidential information about children in their care. As a result of your involvement, you will continue to learn confidential information about children and their families. It is the client’s (camper/parent/guardian) right and expectation that confidential information will be respected and safeguarded by all staff. As partners in the provision of children’s services, staff are bound by the same expectations of protecting confidential information as are agency social work staff members. This means that you are prohibited from discussing a child’s information that has been learned during your work as a Seeds of Hope staff outside of that professional service, even if identities are “disguised”. This includes friends, family, staff, and others not involved with direct service to client.
